The DPPMP is designed for students who want to emerge from their course not just with skills but with a complete, employer-ready portfolio that they can use immediately in job applications, freelance pitches, and design school applications. The design component covers the full creative process: trend research, concept development, design sketching, collection building, and fabric and material sourcing. The pattern making component covers the complete OGIFT pattern drafting curriculum — basic blocks, dart manipulation, Indian and western garment patterns, blouse variations, and grading and alteration principles. Students work through both components in parallel across the three months, so that design and technical skills develop together in an integrated way rather than in separate silos. The portfolio component is structured across all three months — students are guided by OGIFT faculty to build their portfolio progressively, adding each completed project in a professional format. The portfolio component covers portfolio strategy, layout, digital presentation, personal branding, and online portfolio creation.
